About the position

We have an opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join the team at Auto Spa Naples Car Wash & Detail Centers. We have served our customers for over 20 years here on the gulf coast of Florida. Our small corporate office is looking for a full-time or part-time Bookkeeper. The main role is to ensure that our daily bookkeeping requirements are completed. You will also help to ensure the smooth running of the business on the accounting side. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work while your kids are in school, making it an ideal opportunity for parents or those seeking a work-life balance. The job is located at our central office in Naples, FL, and offers a competitive pay rate of $25 to $30 per hour, which is in the top 20% for this field compared to similar jobs on Indeed.

Responsibilities

• Process Payroll Weekly in QuickBooks
• Enter sale receipts for the two locations
• Reconcile the cash and credit cards daily with online banking including online sales
• Prepare daily deposits
• Enter A/P from outside vendors
• Pay vendor invoices weekly by check or credit card
• Reconcile credit card statements monthly
• Enter sales commissions
• Schedule payroll tax deposits online weekly to IRS
• File 940, 941, RTC6
• File sales tax report every quarter and pay sales tax
• Reconcile bank statements monthly
• Run various journal entries, workman comp, payroll accruals
• Print W-2s and 1099s annually
• Plus additional Bookkeeping duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• 3 years of bookkeeping experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2019
