About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper / Client Manager position at Keith Cummings CPA involves providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services for various clients. This on-site role requires a candidate who is adept in accounting methods and can manage multiple client accounts efficiently. The successful applicant will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude while handling diverse bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily sales and cash reconciliation functions.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with vendors and customers regarding AP/AR matters.
  • Produce journal entries.
  • Finish month-end close on time and improve processes as necessary.
  • Create and update excel spreadsheets.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements including: Monthly P&L's by profit center, Balance Sheets, and specialized reports as needed.
  • Run payroll and have knowledge of payroll/employee matters.
  • Conduct cost analysis, including making recommendations for cost savings.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for all types of accounts.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years in a Full Charge Bookkeeping position (Not a bookkeeping clerk position).
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO.
  • Experience with AppFolio Property Management.
  • Experienced in MS Word & Excel (Basic Formulas), Outlook.
  • Comfortable with the internet, researching, using online web-based programs.
  • Skilled in using computer and keyboard.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with excellent attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Secondary Accounting Education or equivalent (Preferred)
  • QuickBooks Desktop and Online: 4+ years (Preferred)
  • AppFolio Property Management Experience (Preferred)
  • Bill.com Experience
