About the position

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team in Wahoo, NE. This part-time position involves managing various bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, as well as general office duties to support the team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of bills/payables into QuickBooks
  • Pay bills
  • Analyze invoices/statements for accuracy
  • Produce and manage QuickBooks reports
  • Assist Payroll manager with time/expense online system and correspondence with employees
  • Prepare/send weekly/bi-weekly reports
  • Assist with new employee set up
  • Assist Recruiters in sending documents and posting jobs
  • Maintain office organization
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, tasks, and reminders in Outlook
  • Sort mail, scan documents and download online statements to Cloud
  • Update/maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures
  • Assist in marketing efforts
  • Other miscellaneous office and bookkeeping related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • QuickBooks knowledge is a must
  • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Word knowledge are a must
  • Previous office or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional and proactive
  • Dependable, knowledgeable, and focused
  • Self-starter with the ability to work alone

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 years of bookkeeping experience (Preferred)
  • 2 years of office tasks/duties experience (Preferred)

Benefits

  • Pay from $19.00 per hour
  • Part-time schedule from Monday to Friday
