About the position

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager role involves overseeing both personal and company financial data, ensuring compliance through the management of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee personal and company financial data and compliance.
  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage payroll and conduct daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting.
  • Enter data into general ledgers and record payments and adjustments.
  • Log weekly activities such as purchases, sales, and payments into a general ledger.
  • Reconcile financial transactions with online bank statements.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with co-workers and business contacts.
