About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure efficiency in our financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and experience with various financial software. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and effective communication among team members.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and account analysis, to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all financial documentation.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient financial management.
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and insights.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a financial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including technical accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is required.
  • Excellent skills in financial report writing, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
