About the position

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team at a family-owned Real Estate Development company. This key role involves managing all aspects of the company's financial records and accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
  • Prepare and process journal entries
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits with outside CPA
  • Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities
  • Collaborate with management and CPA to develop financial strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks is a must have)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and bank reconciliation
