About the position

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager position is a full-time role focused on managing financial transactions and maintaining an organized office environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, ensuring accurate bookkeeping while upholding the company's core values of commitment, integrity, and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report cash on hand and reconcile daily sales accurately.
  • Reconcile secondary services such as lottery and phone services.
  • Review, scan, and file invoices in accounts payable and receivable folders.
  • Download vendor invoices and prepare vendor statements.
  • Print and scan payroll reports and maintain payroll folders.
  • Handle emails and phone calls professionally.
  • Complete change orders and manage office supplies.
  • Invoicing for intercompany transactions and maintaining office cleanliness.
  • Prepare files for quarterly storage and organize monthly payroll and POS reports.
  • Send monthly POS reports to the accountant and review open invoices in QuickBooks for errors.
  • Prepare and print reports for weekly manager meetings.
  • Prepare and execute bank deposits.
  • Process weekly payroll, 401k, and tax ACH payments as needed.
  • Handle accounts payable including ACH payments, monthly rent, lottery, and tax payments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3 years required).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in office management tasks.
  • Knowledge of additional accounting software.
