About the position

The Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist is a part-time role responsible for performing payroll functions and bookkeeping for multiple clients. This position requires accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and client communication, ensuring timely and precise payroll processing and financial data management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform payroll functions accurately and timely for multiple clients.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and prepare financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization for various clients.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Accounting CS.
  • Experience working in a CPA office.
