About the position

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain financial records for multiple companies within our organization, including a gallery, a restaurant, and various real estate entities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in financial management. This position can be part-time or full-time, with an expected workload of 30 to 40 hours per week. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our businesses by ensuring accurate record-keeping and financial reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, utilizing QuickBooks to record transactions accurately. You will perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the financial performance of our companies. Additionally, you will process payroll and maintain employee records, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and utilize accounting software to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be proficient in financial report writing. Experience with accounting software is essential, and proficiency in QuickBooks is a must. Previous experience in public accounting is a plus, as is a background in real estate, given the nature of our business operations.   • Knowledge of accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes
  • Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
  • 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry
