About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team in a permanent position. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional looking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, which include purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Our ideal candidate has experience working with financial software like QuickBooks and is proficient in Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, and Tax Preparation. As a Bookkeeper, your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and analyzing financial reports to ensure compliance with legal requirements, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing invoices and tax payments. You will oversee client accounts, accounts receivable/write-offs, expense accounts, and billing. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as handle payroll information, credit card statements, and cash flow. Regular reconciliations of all accounts will be conducted to ensure their accuracy, and you will prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners. Assisting with tax preparation and returns, maintaining an orderly filing system of financial documents, and utilizing QuickBooks to track and manage company finances will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with the team on financial forecasting and risk analysis will be essential to your role.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and analyzing financial reports and ensuring legal requirements compliance.

  • Overseeing client accounts, accounts receivable/write-offs, expense accounts, and billing.
  • Managing all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as handling payroll information, credit card statements, and cash flow.
  • Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Preparing appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners.
  • Assisting with tax preparation and returns.
  • Maintaining an orderly filing system of the financial documents.
  • Utilizing QuickBooks to track and manage company finances.
  • Collaborating with the team to work on financial forecasting and risk analysis.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper in the finance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, and Tax Preparation.
  • Exceptional knowledge of business and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.
