We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Bookkeeper/Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and providing insights into the company's financial health.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through double-entry bookkeeping.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare and manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliation to verify transactions and account balances.
• Reconcile balance sheets and general ledgers to maintain integrity in financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Proficient in accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
