Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and execute payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Answer employee inquiries related to various general ledgers and accounts
- Balance general ledger accounts by reconciling entries
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn and apply bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
