The Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Robert Half involves managing diverse bookkeeping responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, including collections.
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Oversee payroll transactions, ensuring timely and precise processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local requirements, file necessary reports, and communicate any actions required by management.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Track fixed assets and prepare detailed depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare the trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Manage accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain historical records and manage document storage to ensure organized, up-to-date files.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of accrual and cash basis accounting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AA or higher in Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including advanced Excel functions).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to resolve account discrepancies.
