About the position

We are seeking an exceptional Bookkeeper to join our team at Propark Mobility, a leading parking management company established in 1984. With a rich history that began with a single parking lot in Hartford, Connecticut, we have expanded to over 500 locations across the United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Zephire and Geneva programs, creating ticket audits, performing general entry bookkeeping, managing cash receipts, and generating invoices. You will also be responsible for creating Aging Reports, completing required month-end reports, and maintaining regular communication with your manager and other staff members. Additionally, you will assist customers with any problems they may encounter, ensuring a high level of service and support. This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, providing a stable work environment with opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities

  • Maintain Zephire and Geneva program.
  • Create ticket audits.
  • Perform general entry bookkeeping.
  • Create invoices.
  • Manage cash receipts.
  • Create Aging Reports.
  • Complete required month-end reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with manager and other staff and assist as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as developed and assigned by company management.
  • Answer phone and assist customers with any problems immediately.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, including experience managing A/R, A/P, and performing audit functions.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work at a desk or computer terminal for extended periods of time.
