About the position

We are a small law firm located in Sioux Falls, SD, seeking a dedicated part-time bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping, particularly with accounting software such as QuickBooks, ProLaw, TABS, or other legal-specific accounting systems. While experience in a law firm setting is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The role requires a strong understanding of essential accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded correctly. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will need to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting and documentation. The position demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Critical thinking skills will also be essential in resolving any discrepancies that may arise in the financial records. This part-time position offers a pay rate of $27 per hour, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday.
