About the position

The Bookkeeper position at our client's accounting firm involves providing comprehensive administrative and financial support, particularly focused on managing vendor relationships and accounts payable processes. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships, requests, and payments
  • Manage the AP process
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of client credit cards
  • Assist with year-end reporting of 1099s
  • Resolve issues or discrepancies with clients' accounts, bill pay, or invoices
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Respond to client requests and inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping and AP experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Client service mindset
  • Conduct work with a high degree of confidentiality
