About the position

The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording and maintaining the Company's daily financial transactions, preparing reports for management, and assisting with payroll and accounts receivable/payable. This role requires adherence to company policies and regulations while ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
  • Prepare reports for managers and trial balances.
  • Assist with payroll processing and debt collection.
  • Generate invoices and make payments.
  • Perform data entry and breakdown reconciliations.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare 1099 forms.
  • Review discrepancies and dispute open balances.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledgers.
  • Assist with accounts payables and receivables.
  • Work extra hours, weekends, or holidays when required.
  • Complete additional tasks as required by specific protocols.

Requirements

  • A.A. in Accounting, Finance, or Business; B.S./B.A. Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
