About the position

We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team at Hubs Supply Chain Solutions Inc. In this full-time position, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements. Your role will be crucial in supporting the financial health of the organization by ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. You will be responsible for entering financial data and transactions, verifying the accuracy of these transactions, and preparing the trial balance. Additionally, you will analyze budgets and other financial information, process accounts payable and accounts receivable, and complete the required tax forms. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. You will play a key role in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare trial balance
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete the required tax forms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
