About the position
We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our growing team at SDA CPA Group, P.C. This role is essential for accurately recording financial transactions, including bank and credit card transactions, and managing journal entries in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud-based CPA firm.
Responsibilities
- Download bank and credit card statements
- Download and code bank and credit card transactions into QuickBooks Online for clients
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
- Record journal entries for depreciation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar position
