About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Service Bookkeeper to join our bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation firm on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients, providing high-quality financial services. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for clients, including payroll, payroll tax, sales tax, bookkeeping, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Process client payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients, offering insights into their financial status.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer questions, and ensure that their financial records are complete and accurate.
• Stay up to date on tax laws, payroll requirements, and financial regulations to ensure clients remain compliant.
• Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure that all accounting and bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Record income and expenses that the clients have already paid or received.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with sales tax and payroll tax filings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Effective time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
