About the position
Half Price Books, America's largest family-owned new and used book retailer, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Booksellers in Niles, IL. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced retail environment where you can share your love for books and help fellow book lovers discover their next favorite read. As a Bookseller, you will engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall customer experience and the store's operations. Your daily responsibilities will include delivering quality customer service, sharing your knowledge about books, movies, and music with customers and co-workers, operating the cash register, shelving new merchandise, and buying books from the public. Each day will present new challenges and surprises, making this role dynamic and engaging. We are looking for candidates who possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a dependable work ethic. Responsibilities
