About the position

The NC Dept. of Health and Human Services is seeking a Boomi Developer and Integrations Specialist to work on the Medicaid Integration Services Project. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations and APIs to facilitate seamless data flow between various systems and applications. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and drive efficiency through innovative integration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations that enable seamless data flow and communication between various systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather integration requirements and design scalable Boomi integrations.
  • Develop APIs and create detailed technical specifications for integration solutions.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work as a member of the development team with hands-on programming and design skills.
  • Develop, configure, and test APIs and integrations using the Boomi platform, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
  • Interpret business issues and recommend integration solutions and best practices.
  • Set up different connections to various applications and manage Listener Jobs.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, program logic, and flowcharts.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Dell Boomi API Management and Integration.
  • 3 years of experience in API design, development, and integration.
  • 3 years of experience in OAuth2 and JWT.
  • 5 years of experience in Security Layer, Presentation Layer, Services Layer, Data Persistence Layer, and Execution Layer.
  • Experience in the transition and transformation of large complex software solutions.
  • Experience participating or leading projects using Agile methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in AWS Cloud architecture with EC2 instance and ECS.
  • Experience with MMIS subsystems is preferred.
