About the position

The Boomi Developer will work with the NC Dept. of Health and Human Services on the Medicaid Integration Services Project, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations and APIs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and ensure seamless data flow between various systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations that enable seamless data flow and communication between systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather integration requirements and design scalable Boomi integrations.
• Develop APIs and create detailed technical specifications for integration solutions.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout development phases.
• Work hands-on with programming and design, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability in integrations.
• Interpret business issues and recommend integration solutions and best practices.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and data mapping.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• 5 years of experience in Security Layer, Presentation Layer, Services Layer, Data Persistence Layer, and Execution Layer.
• 3 years of experience in Dell Boomi API Management, API Gateway, and Developer portal.
• 1 year of experience in API design, development, and integration.
• 3 years of experience in OAuth2 and JWT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to technical and business audiences.
• Experience in the transition and transformation of large complex software solutions.
• 3 years of experience participating or leading projects using Agile methodology.
• Experience in AWS Cloud architecture with EC2 instance and ECS for build and deployment.
• 3 years of experience in Data Tables with update, delete, add functions, file upload and download with encryption.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in MMIS subsystems is preferred.
• AWS Cloud experience is a plus.
