About the position
The BOSS Fulfillment Outfitter at Cabela's is responsible for enhancing the shopping experience by efficiently processing online orders that are shipped from the store. This part-time role involves filling orders, sorting, packing, and ensuring the quality of merchandise for shipment to customers and retail locations. The position requires familiarity with the products sold and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment while assisting customers on the sales floor as needed.
Responsibilities
- Fill BOSS orders by sorting, picking, packing, and loading merchandise for shipment.
- Inspect merchandise for quality and presentation before shipping.
- Sort merchandise into order groupings and pack using appropriate containers.
- Move merchandise among warehouse locations using material handling equipment or manually.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
- Attend mandatory training and in-services.
- Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions on the sales floor.
- Communicate issues affecting job functions, such as stock shortages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to follow through on order processing and close orders in the BOSS system.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers.
- Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
