About the position

Bottega Veneta is currently seeking a Client Advisor to join our dynamic team in Houston Galleria. This role is pivotal in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales within our retail environment. As a Client Advisor, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a crucial role in meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) through proactive client outreach. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships via appointments and consignments, while also keeping all clients informed about new collection deliveries, in-store events, and relevant brand initiatives. In this position, you will effectively utilize the Bottega Veneta Client Journey and various selling techniques, including cross-selling, multiple selling, and upselling, to maximize each transaction and improve KPIs. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients is essential, and you will routinely update and maintain client profile records to ensure personalized service. A commitment to continuous learning is vital, as you will be expected to seek and receive feedback from colleagues and management to enhance your performance. You will also maintain a high level of product knowledge on all collections by utilizing the training resources provided by the company. Additionally, you will assist management with basic store opening and closing procedures, including cycle counts and light cleaning duties, while ensuring visual standards are upheld, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting, and general maintenance as requested. Compliance with all company policies and procedures is mandatory, and you will contribute to maintaining an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPI's through client outreach.
  • Develop new clients via appointments and consignments.
  • Inform all clients of new collection deliveries, in-store events, and relevant brand initiatives.
  • Utilize the Bottega Veneta Client Journey and other selling techniques to maximize each transaction.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous retail sales experience in a customer service related field, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and KPI's.
  • Builds and maintains a loyal client following.
  • Genuine interest in fashion and follows industry trends/news.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic, leadership skills, high energy level, and is team-oriented.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains a polished and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Luxury retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
  • Available to work closing shifts a minimum of 3 times per week, minimum of 3 Saturdays per month and two Sundays per month, annual inventory and entire holiday season.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and lift packages weighing 5-8 lbs. on a regular basis.
