About the position

Bottega Veneta is seeking an Operations Assistant for our Beverly Hills Flagship store. This role is integral to maintaining the operational efficiency of the store and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Operations Assistant will report directly to the Store Director and will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to upholding the brand's high standards of service and presentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall functionality of the store, including managing the back of house and shipping area, handling sales transactions, and maintaining non-merchandise supplies such as stationery and uniforms. In this position, you will also support store maintenance and cleaning operations, ensuring that the cash wrap area is organized and that all necessary information is up to date. You will assist with after-sales processes, product returns, and help associates with address verifications and credit card authorizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that new merchandise is displayed correctly and labeled appropriately. Your contributions will be vital in achieving the goals set by store management and corporate partners, and you will perform operational functions as directed by management to ensure compliance with brand guidelines. A key aspect of this role is to maintain a respectful and fair environment for all associates, reflecting the brand's commitment to inclusivity and teamwork. The Operations Assistant will be expected to exhibit a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a high energy level, while also being mobile on the sales floor for extended periods. Availability for closing shifts, weekends, and the holiday season is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized back of house and shipping area
  • Handle all types of sale transactions and ensure adequate change in the register
  • Maintain non-merchandise supply (stationery, uniforms, packaging, drinks, etc.)
  • Support with all possible store maintenance and cleaning operations
  • Ensure cash wrap is kept organized and information is kept up to date (phone lists, passwords)
  • Support the process of After Sales, Before Sales and product returns
  • Assist associates with address verifications and verbal credit card authorizations
  • Ensure new merchandise is brought up and labeled for display
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing goals set forth by store management and corporate partners
  • Perform operational functions as communicated by management to ensure store meets brand guidelines
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect

Requirements

  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and leadership skills
  • Possesses strong problem solving and excellent organization skills
  • Maintains a polished and well-groomed appearance at all times
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work closing shifts a minimum of 3 times per week, minimum of 3 Saturdays per month and two Sundays per month, annual inventory and entire holiday season
