About the position
Boulder Ponds is seeking a Community Life Assistant/Activity Assistant to support the Community Life Department in providing enriching activities and wellness programs for residents in a senior living community. This role is essential in fostering a vibrant community atmosphere and enhancing the quality of life for seniors through organized activities and personal interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in developing and implementing community life and wellness services.
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promote and integrate wellness dimensions into community life programs.
- Communicate programs effectively and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including email use.
- Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and employees.
