About The Position

The Boutique Retail Assistant Manager at Sea Lustre is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a vibrant and customer-focused boutique environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for fashion, and the ability to multitask effectively. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the team to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, maximize sales, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining inventory and operational standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail/brand management experience
• 1+ year of experience operating in a supervising capacity
• Availability on Tuesday - Saturday and holidays
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in Shopify
• Excellent time management skills
• Great customer service skills, including patience and active listening
• Excellent judgment and quick decision-making skills
• Ability to calmly communicate in stressful situations
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fashion retail sales and leadership
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming, energetic, and professional boutique environment
• Co-Leading daily operations to assure the boutique runs smoothly by supporting the team
• Overseeing and assisting in storefront opening and closing procedures
• Monitoring and maximizing sales, working to meet and exceed sales goals by being an active participant on the sales floor
• Providing a superior customer experience, including resolving issues with customers and team as necessary
• Supervising, coaching, and supporting the team
• Offering sales techniques to the team and training programs if necessary
• Ensuring all employees adhere to Sea Lustre's policies and guidelines
• Hosting community events and coordinating sip & shops and off-site pop-ups
• Assisting with models and photoshoots
• Acting as Sea Lustre representative and lead example for the team
• Maintaining inventory control for the boutique and coordinating replenishment from the wholesale warehouse
• Maintaining supply inventory for back office and warehouse
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Packing and/or checking online orders prior to shipping
• Receiving wholesale shipments
• Receiving, boxing, packing, and shipping wholesale orders
• Willingness to learn and ability to treat everyone in the Sea Lustre Family as if they are your own.
