About the position

The Boutique Associate position at Deja & Co. is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a retail boutique environment. The associate will engage with clients, assist in various operational tasks, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while embodying the company's core values of integrity, teamwork, and client-centeredness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various departments based on operational needs, including sales, administrative tasks, accounting, inventory management, and marketing.
• Respond to client inquiries and book appointments to facilitate the sales process.
• Prepare for client appointments using CRM software to anticipate needs.
• Greet and interact with clients professionally to inspire trust and enhance sales.
• Take detailed notes of client requests and preferences, following up as appropriate.
• Procure products based on client requests and style merchandise accordingly.
• Serve beverages, wrap gifts, restock supplies, and take high-quality photos for clients.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the boutique, including inventory management and data entry.
• Assist with daily transactions and filing paperwork for accounting purposes.
• Utilize a DSLR camera for marketing purposes, taking and editing photos of products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Over 18 years of age required.
• Experience in retail sales, hospitality, or service industries preferred.
• Familiarity with Mac operating systems is a plus.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Skilled with paper crafts such as precise cutting and gluing.
