About the position

The Sales Associate at Club Pilates plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager to enhance studio membership by engaging with prospective members, scheduling them for Demo Classes, and assisting in member retention. The position emphasizes creating a welcoming and positive environment to encourage member loyalty, while also focusing on achieving sales goals in memberships and related services.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Execute the entire sales process, including lead generation, follow-ups, and closing sales.
  • Conduct facility tours while building relationships and identifying individual client needs.
  • Maintain a consistent level of personal sales to meet studio goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Promote the studio's mission as a fitness and wellness provider.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and present membership services to current and prospective members.
  • Book high-quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas, by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to enhance their experience.
  • Represent the studio at special events (e.g., health fairs, grand openings, community events) to promote brand awareness.
  • Attend company's training sessions to develop and refine sales skills to meet and exceed goals.
  • Assist in maintaining studio cleanliness and organization between classes and shifts.
  • Support the General Manager with tasks like managing the retail store and inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needs change.

Requirements

  • Strong sales, communication, and extraordinary customer service skills.
  • Goal-oriented, with proven ability to drive sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in using software systems, particularly Club Ready (training provided).
  • Comfortable standing or sitting for up to 8 hours during a workday.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (in-person, phone, and email).
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in boutique fitness is preferred, but not required.
