About the position

DASKK Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Manager to lead the sales and marketing operations of a newly renovated boutique hotel. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful leader and confident decision-maker, focused on treating clients like family while achieving sales and revenue goals. This role involves building relationships, conducting sales tours, and maintaining visibility in the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Change Agent to ensure all clients are treated like family.
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals.
  • Conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups.
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Adhere to established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and sales metrics.
  • Develop a full working knowledge of hotel operations and policies.
  • Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations.
  • Assist in implementing special promotions related to direct sales segments.
  • Attend required meetings and functions as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous hotel sales experience required.
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and influence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with professional selling skills such as opening, probing, supporting, and closing.
