About the position

The Box Sorter position at Rehrig Pacific Company is focused on hand-sorting Break Pack containers based on quality standards. This role is essential for maintaining production efficiency and quality expectations while adhering to safety protocols. The position requires working on weekends, specifically Saturday through Monday, with a commitment to teamwork and a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Safety to ensure Plan To Zero (PTZ) is met.
• Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.
• Hand-sort Break Pack containers accurately and efficiently based on quality determined through visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned product and materials.
• Understand, achieve, and sustain production expectations.
• Perform sanitation and good housekeeping practices.
• May be required to operate a Fork-Lift safely and efficiently, with training and certification provided.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
• Perform consistent, repetitive motions, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.

Requirements

• Familiarity using a pallet jack.
• Prior Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
