About the position

The Box Sorter position at Rehrig Pacific Company involves hand-sorting Break Pack containers based on quality through a visual inspection process. The role is essential for maintaining production and quality expectations while adhering to safety protocols. This position operates on a Tuesday to Friday schedule, focusing on efficiency and teamwork within a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Safety to ensure Plan To Zero (PTZ) is met.
• Conduct all activities and perform all job duties following established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.
• Hand-sort Break Pack containers accurately and efficiently based on quality determined through visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned product and materials.
• Understand, achieve, and sustain production expectations.
• Perform sanitation and good housekeeping practices.
• May be required to operate a Fork-Lift safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
• Familiarity using a pallet jack.
• Prior Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
