Box Truck Driver Needed (Set route/ home daily)

About the position

The Route Driver position involves driving a box truck for a waste disposal company, focusing on the collection of regulated medical waste from various facilities. The role requires completing set routes, ensuring timely pickups, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service. Drivers will work approximately 10 hours a day, with 10-20 stops, and will be home daily after completing their routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup routes for regulated medical waste from various facilities.
• Drive a box truck along a set route, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Lift and transport waste materials, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and co-workers.
• Complete daily routes and return home after work.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work 35-45 hours a week, including 5-6 days a week.
