About the position
The Boys Tennis Assistant Coach position at Marple Newtown School District is a part-time role for the 2024-2025 spring season. The coach will work with high school students, focusing on developing their tennis skills and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices and matches.
- Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes in tennis techniques and strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Monitor student-athlete performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with school and district policies regarding athletics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with high school students.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous coaching experience in tennis or related sports.
- Knowledge of tennis rules and regulations.
Benefits
