About the position
The Boys Wrestling Assistant Coach at McNary High School is responsible for teaching and coaching students in wrestling, providing them with opportunities for advanced study and participation in the sport. The role is designed to foster an environment conducive to learning and skill development under the guidance of the head coach.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting wrestling practices.
- Teach wrestling techniques and strategies to students.
- Provide mentorship and support to student-athletes.
- Help in organizing competitions and events.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and competitions.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching wrestling or a strong background in the sport.

Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a wrestler at the high school or collegiate level.
