About the position

The Government Account Manager at Safety-Kleen is responsible for the implementation and management of government contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. This role involves supporting government accounts, facilitating customer service requests, and maintaining a focus on health and safety as the top priority.

Responsibilities

  • Perform contract implementation and facilitate all contract and reporting deliverables.
  • Support and facilitate contract requirements, price management, account structure, and special billing requirements.
  • Review and support the development/placement of products/services offering.
  • Support all aspects of government accounts and customer services, managing customer set-up and all administrative tasks.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution.

Requirements

  • Government background of 3+ years preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Handles confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
