Eliot's programs provide a unique opportunity to deliver services for individuals with brain injuries, focusing on person-centered innovative supports and services tailored to meet the individual needs of each person served. The Adult Day Services Program and Adult Residential Programs are designed to enhance the lives of adults with Acquired Brain Injuries through a full spectrum of restorative skill-building activities. These programs aim to rebuild communication proficiency, social and behavioral skills, self-help abilities, and management of daily life activities, ensuring that each individual can achieve personal growth and accomplishment. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for being alert and responsive to the needs of individuals, providing support and training in areas identified within the Individual Support Plan (I.S.P.). This may include assistance with personal care and hygiene as required. You will also administer medication according to MAP regulations and perform necessary housekeeping tasks. Reporting maintenance and safety issues to your supervisor, as well as significant health, psychiatric, and behavioral issues to the Program Manager, is crucial for maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Your role will involve actively engaging individuals in enriching activities that promote skill building and independence, supporting them with a variety of medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities such as laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, and leisure activities. Participation in meetings and training sessions is also expected to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in care.
