About the position

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating manual Press Brake machines and other fabrication equipment in accordance with company guidelines. This role involves planning, selecting, laying out, positioning, and aligning dies in the machine ram and bed of the Press Brake, ensuring efficient and accurate production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual Press Brake and other machines according to company guidelines.
• Plan, select, lay out, position, and align dies in the machine ram and bed of the Press Brake.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints for fabrication tasks.
• Utilize manual tools including micrometers for precise measurements.

Requirements

• Experience operating manual Press Brakes, Rolls, and other fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of the fabrication process and ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabricating shop.
