About the position
The Branch Banking Client Consultant I is responsible for providing high-quality financial services to customers at Flagstar Bank. This role involves greeting clients, processing financial transactions, and ensuring a positive client experience while adhering to operational standards and compliance regulations. The consultant will also support the branch's sales performance and assist in achieving growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, including outstanding deposits and loans.
- Actively seek and deliver client introductions to appropriate team members to meet growth targets.
- Provide positive client experiences by assisting with account questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including referrals.
- Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions, striving for no controllable preventable losses.
- Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) required.
- 0 - 3 years of customer service and sales experience required.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
