About the position

The Branch Banking Client Consultant II-Float at Flagstar Bank is responsible for providing exceptional client experiences by addressing concerns and offering product information tailored to meet clients' financial needs. This role emphasizes client management, retention, and collaboration with key bank partners to facilitate access to financial experts, enhancing clients' ability to achieve their financial goals. The position involves greater lending and investment interactions, as well as participation in complex banking discussions.

Responsibilities

• Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, including outstanding deposits and loans.
• Actively seek and deliver appropriate client introductions to team members to meet growth targets.
• Provide positive client experiences by assisting with account inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Deliver client engagement and education, meeting behavioral activity goals set by Retail Leadership.
• Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Perform moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) required.
• 4 - 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Ability to train and mentor others on products and platform procedures required.
• May require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies preferred.
