About the position

As an Employee Owner and Customer Service professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining rapport with customers and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include receiving requests for product selection, lead times, price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, and adjustments directly from customers. You will be tasked with making quotations on standard items, processing orders, and relaying pertinent information to customers. Additionally, you will coordinate with other departments to handle purchase orders and provide value-added services to customers. Utilizing the corporate ERP system (P21), you will retrieve customer information, stock status, and purchase order status, ensuring that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information. You will also handle the needs of the outside sales force and operate the retail counter by managing walk-in cash and credit card sales. As part of your duties, you will make and assemble hoses for walk-in customers and perform shipping and receiving tasks as required in the warehouse or showroom. This position is full-time and offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow and contribute to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and numerical reasoning skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary, along with the ability to learn the ERP system.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
