About the position

The Branch Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring operational efficiencies, quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and supporting business development and patient base growth. This role involves managing clinical staff, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, and maintaining fiscal viability while delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations to ensure operational efficiencies and quality of patient care.
  • Supervise branch and clinical staff, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Develop, plan, implement, analyze, and organize operations for the branch.
  • Work with the Area Director of Operations to establish revenue and budget goals.
  • Support and supervise Clinical Manager(s) to enhance performance and quality of home care services.
  • Conduct continuous quality improvement meetings and review patient satisfaction data.
  • Communicate with the Area Director of Operations for direction and problem-solving.
  • Partner with Sales Directors to meet budgeted admission goals and participate in marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably in Home Health or Hospice.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with experience in motivating and developing staff.
  • Experience with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Fiscal management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in EMR, with prior Homecare Homebase experience being a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in home health or hospice settings.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing initiatives in healthcare.
