About the position

The Branch Driver position at Rexel USA involves delivering products to and from customers, company branches, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck. The role requires ensuring that deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently and that materials are correct and undamaged. This position is based in Redmond, OR, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule with paid holidays and time off.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects and complete a daily inspection report.
• Maintain cleanliness and service of the company vehicle, alerting the supervisor of any needed repairs.
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and local/state driving laws and regulations.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring all materials for each order are correct and undamaged before departure.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery as needed.
• Complete all appropriate documentation at the time of delivery, including signed delivery receipts and packing lists.
• Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting the condition and verifying quantities and catalog numbers.
• Collect materials from company suppliers.
• Participate in training and mentoring entry-level truck drivers.
• Support other warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of a non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
