About the position

The Branch Driver position at Rexel USA involves delivering products to and from customers, company branches, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck. The role requires ensuring that deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently and that materials are correct and undamaged. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with opportunities for overtime, and emphasizes a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers and company locations using a delivery van or box truck.
• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report.
• Maintain cleanliness and service of the company vehicle, alerting supervisors of needed repairs.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all materials are correct and undamaged before departure.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery as needed.
• Complete all necessary documentation at the time of delivery, including signed receipts and packing lists.
• Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting condition and verifying quantities.
• Pick up materials from company suppliers as required.
• Support other warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders, receiving, stocking, and shipping materials.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of a non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
