About the position

The Branch Manager at DH Pace Company, Inc. is responsible for leading and managing the Madison/Huntsville market, focusing on profitable growth and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service and installation departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, financial oversight, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Service and Install Departments.
  • Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure proper execution.
  • Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure that install projects are completed timely, below budget, and to customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the Departments and execute the plan.
  • Deliver return on sales that exceed financial budget forecasts for assigned business unit(s).
  • Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop action plans with front-line managers to improve performance.
  • Improve individual performance of the field force through regular performance reviews.
  • Enhance safety performance by complying with safety programs and emphasizing safety to the team.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to improve warranty performance and reduce associated costs.
  • Improve customer survey scores and response rates by emphasizing great customer service and coaching employees.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to operational processes and procedures.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees.
  • Lead effective field force meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience managing personnel, preferably in a Service Organization.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability for technical applications, mechanical systems, and problem-solving.
  • Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel.
  • Experience in hiring, training, developing, and conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Enjoy a high level of activity in a hands-on environment with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service.
