About the position

As a Branch Manager in Branch Banking, you will be responsible for ensuring that the branch meets and exceeds customer expectations while creating a customer-obsessed culture. This role involves directing all aspects of branch operations, growing deposits and investments, and coaching bankers and associate bankers. You will represent the brand and culture, utilizing the latest banking solutions and financial technology to provide tailored education and advice to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the standard bearer of Chase and creates a world-class customer experience
  • Educates clients on how to use our digital platforms to bank and invest
  • Builds partnerships with local businesses to enhance brand presence
  • Creates an environment that encourages exceptional customer service
  • Identifies, coaches, develops, motivates, and supports employees
  • Promotes a strong control environment adhering to risk/control expectations
  • Leverages the Branch Scorecard to identify strategies for growth

Requirements

  • Ability to set the tone of the branch for exceptional customer experience
  • Outstanding leadership experience with a successful record of coaching employees
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across branch locations
  • Experience maintaining a strong risk and control environment
  • Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree or military equivalent
  • 2 years of management or Retail Banking experience
  • Chase leadership experience
  • Strong desire to influence and educate team and customers
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
