About the position

As a Branch Manager at Huntington Bank, you will lead the branch's sales, service, and operations, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for both customers and team members. Your role will involve managing a portfolio of high-value consumer and business customers, driving business development, and fostering strong internal and community relationships. You will be responsible for coaching your team, achieving budgeted production goals, and maintaining compliance with operational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of high value consumer and business customers.
  • Leading the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to meet customer needs and deepen relationships.
  • Leading the team to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
  • Leveraging available tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities.
  • Maintaining knowledge and educating the team on all products, services, technology, and policies.
  • Maintaining active involvement in the community and developing key business and community relationships.
  • Developing key internal partnerships to drive business in the market area.
  • Overseeing the recruitment and hiring process to ensure the branch is staffed with suitable colleagues.
  • Garnering resources required to support the team.
  • Managing the overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Understanding branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
  • Demonstrating acumen in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, sales, customer service, and colleague development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year in a goal-driven retail sales leadership role or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand, drive, and lead branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
  • Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, influence, inspire, and motivate colleagues to increase retention.
