About the position

The Branch Manager/Inside Sales position at Garage Door Parts Depot is a dual role that combines leadership responsibilities with a focus on sales and customer service. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Reno branch, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Manage a team of sales representatives, warehouse staff, and customer service associates.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Prepare and load miscellaneous doors, hardware, and motors for customer orders upon sale completion.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with headquarters for logistics, marketing, and financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and provide expert product knowledge.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotes and orders.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through proactive communication and support.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth.
  • Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and other promotional activities.
  • Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and branch performance.
  • Manage branch budget and control expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in retail or wholesale sales.
  • Strong sales background with a focus on inside sales and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of garage door parts and accessories is a plus.
