About the position

The Branch Manager - Inside Sales is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve company goals while ensuring a high level of morale and performance. This role involves coaching team members, monitoring sales activities, managing vendor relationships, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets. The Branch Manager will also focus on personal and career development for sales associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and drive sales team to achieve company goals.
  • Motivate employees and maintain high morale.
  • Implement team building strategies.
  • Monitor sales activity and ensure quality of sales efforts.
  • Support individual sales team members through training and productivity initiatives.
  • Identify areas for personal and career development among sales associates.
  • Train and promote company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Prepare and monitor sales plans addressing KPIs.
  • Manage vendor/rep relationships at the branch level.
  • Build relationships with corporate personnel and suppliers.
  • Conduct quarterly business plans with strategic suppliers.
  • Attract, hire, train, develop, and manage a sales team.
  • Create strategies to achieve annual sales budget.
  • Ensure timely processing of customer orders.
  • Collaborate with corporate personnel for positive customer experience.
  • Communicate regularly with employees regarding customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Promote RS Americas' five behaviors with the sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years in a related business role.
  • Management training and experience in managing people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
